Managing an event entails multi tasking and an event manager has to go through a juggling session to accomplish his task. The tasks ranging from the conceptualization to the creation and development of festivals and events is called event management. The work involves the event concept planning, the type of audience to target, planning the logistics and some technical aspects coordination before the taking place of the actual proposal. The manager and his team take all the responsibilities of planning and executing the event since they are the ones who are often behind the scenes of running any event. Their works also involve brand building, and communication and some marketing strategy. The success of an event depends on the expertise of logistical elements and technical aspects and these results in a successful event.
Numerous events take place like birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, award ceremonies and so on. So to make these events take place they should be able to make use of the many ideas and techniques from the past events. The hand written list is the simplest thing that a manager comes across while planning for an event. It needs hours of meticulous preparation to plan an event since it is a very daunting job.
